I adore the playground lot type. It makes it so much easier for my child and toddler Sims to make genuine childhood friends. Prior to this lot type, I had only encountered one toddler out in the world—one. And to say I was shocked would be an understatement.

I know some people complain that we already have parks, and sure, child Sims spawn at parks as well—but not toddlers.

And honestly, I don’t see the issue with having both, especially since you can customize your game however you want.

I just genuinely enjoy the playground lot type. I think it’s adorable and so good for storytelling, especially with families.
