I have done an exceptionally terrible job as attorney general. The single person that I have attempted to prosecute has gotten away after pleading insanity and going missing.

In my (unfortunate) position as Attorney General, I interact with the rules of r/trugtrug quite a bit. It is for that reason that I believe the participation of AutoMod violate rule 1 "No Artifical Intelligence". He is simply too intelligent for this server, and while that might be fine if he was human, as a machine he should be considered as AI.

I've been thinking about this for a day, and I've come to the conclusion that I cannot reconcile my endorsement of TCB and my belief that we need more parties if we want democracy. I no longer expect my flairs agenda to be pushed by them, and I'm willing to accept a punishment of not being allowed to quit my job.

This does not mean that I plan on accepting the presidency should it come to me. This does not constitute me joining with yourmom in the presidential race.

I also believe that it is difficult for me to report the news in an unbiased manner while endorsing a candidate.

As a final statement I'd like to revisit the matter of parties. r/trugtrug is currently a 1-party state. This cannot continue if we want a true democratic system. After the election has finished I believe the idea of creating a second party should be discussed in an official capacity

It's election time again folks, and because of the large amount of applicants Phummy has decided to run 3 races and pick the top 2 candidates from each race for the final ballot.

At of right now the final candidates are projected to be

I think it's best to start with the candidate I know best, me.

Earlier in the election I dropped out and endorsed TheCrimsonBlight because I believed that it was the best way to push my flairs agenda. I also have a history of not wanting to hold political office, and earlier proposed the idea of running to quit my job as attorney general. This makes me a funny candidate to vote for, something that has historically won me elections. That combined with my relative name recognition within the sub, gives strong potential for election, but still an expected loss (likely around 4th place)

Moving onto the next candidate in the list

Yourmom68816 is an incredibly strong candidate. I think that they have proven that beyond a shadow of a doubt. They have, in a few short days, developed strong name recognition among members of the sub. I have previously expressed doubt on their electoral chances, but now I believe that they are one of the strongest candidates for winning this election, at worst being the 3rd place candidate. They have developed strong support in voters that are frustrated with the current party, a party which they have criticized heavily. They appear to be going for a mix of humour and opposing the party as a primary way to draw in votes. While I believe that opposing the TT1F party is a strong way to draw in votes, I believe that the humour strategy won't have the desired results because of the next candidate

Which brings us into the next candidate

The AutoMod is quite possibly the funniest candidate that has ever been put forward as an option. Not just being hilarious in their responses (see the presidential candidacy/house electrolytes situation) but also in the sheer absurdity in having a machine that gives random responses as president. It is for this reason that I believe AutoMod is the single strongest candidate. Not only drawing in votes from key members of the subreddit, but also likely from outsiders who find the idea of the AutoMod presidency funny.

Rounding of the list of those I view to be primary candidates

The Crimson Blight is a strong candidate. But I believe that their support from Core Contributors makes it seem like their support is stronger than what it is. They have been endorsed by myself and all members of the TT1F party (excluding Keyunot who has yet to weigh in on this election). All of us are quite active members of the subreddit, and make more posts than an average user. This is valuable in terms of sheer amount of propaganda, but it also clouds the real support behind TCB as detractors are out posted by supporters. If they win the election then they will very much be seen as a continuation of the previous presidency. I see them likely being in the top 3, but most likely 2nd or 3rd

Now to move onto the secondary candidates.

Kelociraptor had strong name recognition in the wider D--gD--g space. But if they want to translate this name recognition into votes then they would need to get outsiders to vote at a larger scale than normal, which could entail outside posting, a practice frowned upon since the lockdown in the previous presidency. All in all, they have the potential to be a strong candidate but I don't believe that a kelociraptor presidency is to be expected.

And for the final candidate

Paul is the candidate that I view as least likely to win. They are attempting to go for the humour strategy, but they don't have the posting that yourmom does, and as stated previously I believe that this strategy is likely to face problems when running against the AutoMod.

The opinion of the TTNN is that the election ranking will look something like this

5. Kelociraptor

6. Paul

The automod is a way for Phummy to circumvent the agreement to not run for a political position. It can't make decisions on it's own, only with Phummy

I believe that we should add new post flairs, and potentially new people flairs.

The post flairs I'd like to add are as follows:

2. Propaganda
3. Spam

Please add any flairs that you'd like to see

I also think the idea of adding flairs for regular people would be a good idea. Perhaps some relating to party alignment.
