I'm working on a fanfiction were Violet and Xaden have kids. It is my coping mechanism for literally everything else this series puts me through. A story of sweetness, fluff, and only mild angst (comparatively). I'll probably make a bigger post later detailing the plot a bit but for now I need names.

So they have twins, and I've already decided they name the boy Liam (though I'm not opposed to other ideas) but I'm stuck on the girl's name. I've considered Mira but....idk it just doesn't hit right.

I wanna hear your hot takes about the series. Desperately.

I'll go first:

I do not like Xaden's name. Hate it even. I think "Xaden" is a stupid thing to name someone in a fantasy setting the only Xaden's I know are chaotic little boys still in daycare. That and Dylan. I also thought Dylan's name was stupid.

I really, really, really like this series and the story, but the romance has never been all the way satisfying for me. Xaden as a character feels kinda flat at times. He's the super cool, super dignified, super badass, super stunning man, and it feels like that's all he's allowed to be. He never feels on Violet's level because he's not allowed to struggle like he does. He always knows, always has a plan, and is always in control. He's never allowed to be totally, 100% wrong, without some kind of excuse or reason, and I feel like it cheapens the experience. I feel like it makes the other assholeish personality traits he has feel even worse.

Idk, I'm just rambling. I still really love this story and this romance, like a lot, but its not perfect.

Is there any offical size chart for the dragons, hell even unofficial fan made one? I've been looking and can't seem to find anything. I know how big Tairn is supposed to be, but it's hard to visualize that without a reference for how big other dragons are in comparison

This is just my own personal little rant but as someone who actually has Imogen's hairstyle (my hair is just curly) it would be a pain the the fucking ass to have as a soldier! It is in my face. Always. Forever. I can't even look down without being completely blinded. God help me if it's windy. Just imagining having to do all her fancy combat shit on a dragon???? In the air???? I can't imagine. She's stronger than me

I am a chronic oc maker and at this point I have made so many oc's for this series I had to split them off and make them their own thing.

Last night I dreamt that me and my best friend were the groomsmen to Xaden's wedding. He was getting married to a pick me girl I knew back in high school that I absolutely do not like. The wedding was that day and I was still helping her plan shit. I did not see Xaden once.

I am very curious as to who people like the best outside of Xaddy and why.

My favorites by far are Garrick and Brennan hands down. As for my third....I know I'm going to get flamed for this....is Dain. I can fix him. I swear I can fix him.
