Is it too crazy to ask for 30 fixed if your current fixed is 22 and you’re already up for a hike next month.

I’d applied to Accenture Strategy at L9 position. Told the HR my current CTC is 25 and I’m expecting 30 fixed however that’s negotiable. She said that’s on their higher band and she’ll have to check for pay parity etc. said they can get me a bonus since I might lose out in my current company.

I’ve heard Strategy pays well so I don’t think 30 is too crazy given that I’m already expecting a hike soon.

PS. Is this the reason why they’re ghosting lol? HR answers the call but the whole “still under approval” bullshit is getting to me.

Need help understanding workday status

So when I’d applied to Accenture my role was for a Consultant and that’s what showed up on workday. However, once my interviews were done and also spoke to the HR it had changed to Analyst. Called the HR to ask why it had changed and she said it probably happened because they were interviewing across levels. Now, it’s been a month since I shared my documents with the HR and according to her it’s still “under approvals”. Which is obviously fail to believe. I checked my status on workday and it shows the Analyst position “no longer under consideration” and somehow the Consultant position has popped in that place with the status “interviews completed”. Idk what to make from this?

Also, on smart recruiter site it was showing “awaiting recruiter confirmation” for the longest time and the status and finally changed to “your application is moving”. But it also had a statement around selecting a slot. No idea what bullshit but really just trying to understand what all of this means.

Is Accenture really serious about hiring for senior positions/lateral hires?

All I see on this sub are offer letters coming from campus recruits at junior or mid level. If they’re really hiring at senior level do they just randomly ghost you if they feel your expected CTC is higher on their band?

Also, is there any way to reach out and really confirm the application status? I don’t think workday updates neither do I trust it. I really need to know if I’ve been put on hold and will be rejected or I need to have more patience and wait 🙃

Anyone pivoted from UX to product management?

Is there anyone who has pivoted from product design to product management? Looking to understand why you made that move and how you went about it? Also, are you happy with the move and why?
