Hi everyone! I’m moving to Shillong for work purpose and most likely to stay for a year. I have a few quick questions for the locals:

1. PG Costs: What is a realistic monthly rent for a clean, single-room girls' PG in Mawlai?
2. The Commute: How easy is it to get shared taxis or buses from Mawlai to Umiam for a 9-to-5 shift? What’s the daily travel cost?
3. Fitness: Are there any affordable gyms or safe open spaces for morning runs nearby?
