Cockroach in AC
I have an AC unit in my bedroom.i don't know the type. The normal one mounted on the wall high up? I'm deathly afraid of cockroaches for context. One just came through my AC. It happened to me once before. I heard the rattling noise, it triggered my cockroach PTSD spidey-sense and I looked up just in time to see it falling/flying out the unit. I was on the computer so not asleep or my head would have been right there. I can't even think. I feel physically sick. It's flying and disappeared somewhere in my bed things. No one to call for help. Is this a thing???
Like, how? An AC repair person is due soon for the regular cleaning, what to say/do/ask??? I don't want to sound like a crazy person, but it came through the AC. Last time, they gaslit me but I saw it clearly this time. It was not in the house previously. It wasn't trying to get out or anything. It just came out the AC. What do I tell them to check? Air vents? There's a fan setting without cooling, is this bringing air (and cockroaches) in from outside or something? Is is just sucking in outside stuff through a air pipe?
(I have two cats for protection, but they're bougie. They just stared at it like they were as confused as I was.)
