Hi everyone,

Since I’ve finally calmed down/aged a bit and should no longer kill myself by doing something stupid on a bike, I’m planning on getting my license this year and I’m heavily looking into the Rebel 500.

However, I’m not a small guy - 185cm/6’1 and weigh 125kg/275lbs.

Looking at reviews this seems to be more towards/over the limit for this bike and wanted to get some input from everyone here.

Some upgrades I’m expecting that will most likely be needed to improve comfort:

* seat

* front controls

* suspension

* wind screen/cowl

Any feedback on how useful these would be and/or suggestions would be appreciated as well.
