Usually I used to would check out at least *twenty-five* books. But I had to walk home. So only 5. This time.

Yes, these are prescription glasses. If I am gonna need plastic and glass on my face so I can see the world properly, the least they can do is be cute and fun.
And funny enough, when I first saw this video, I thought to myself *How cute would it be if Jellycat actually made floofy puffball Bart into a real plush? I bet he'd sell like Hotcakes!*

The grey teddy bear in my post the other day about the swings , his name is Greyson. He was a get well soon gift that was sent to me after I had to get a meniscal repair operation done on my knee last December
The Little brown bear is Cookie, and he is my Bartholomew Bear Jellycat that I bought at my local toy store. Because even though i am adult, I will never not love to buy myself a toy. Especially a cute little teddt

For some added context: I am a 22 F, and back in October of last year, I fell out my mom's car and tore ny meniscus in my right knee. I got it fixed, but now every time it's rainy or cloudy or cold, my knee hurts more.
I know this is a common thing with older people, and I found this curious when I was a kid, but now that I'm experiencing this myself, I am even more curious about this
I just learned about this myself yesterday. So apparently, Angela C. Santomero and Traci Paige Johnson, the co-creators of Blue's Clues, initially intended for Blue's best friend Magenta to star in her own spinoff series during the run of the original Blue's Clues show. But Nickelodeon didn't like that concept so they shut it down.
So Angela and Traci pivoted from Magenta's show and they later got the idea for Blue's Room, and Nickelodeon obviously liked that idea better so they picked it up instead..
Now, don't get me wrong, I liked Blue's Room just fine as a kid. But I honestly think I would have liked the Magenta spinoff better. But what do you think?

I'm talking about the British dubbed versions of shows like The Backyardigans, Shimmer and Shine, Little Einsteins, etc.
So like, for example: the original US/Canadian version Backyardigans theme song is recorded in the key of G Major. However, the UK dub, it's in A Major.
Is there a reason the UK version is always higher pitched?
And I am asking this here in this sub because this only happens with kids shows. At least, as far as I've noticed
When I was a kid, the swings were my favorite part of a playground. I felt like that was the closest thing to feeling like I am flying.
I am 22, and I still love the swings. Today was a nice breezy spring day, so I thought why not go out and play on some swings?
So that's what I did. I got dressed, grabbed my emotional support teddy bear, and went downtown to the park and played on the swings for a while. Just me, my music, the breeze, and my daydreams. And I had just as much fun on the swings as I did when I was a kid.
I think that as adults, in the midst of the busy hustle of work, kids, appointments, shopping, paying bills, and the other boring Adulting stuff, we forget to take time to relax and play. Who says just because you're an adult, you can no longer enjoy the things you did when you were a kid? Because that person sounds really boring and miserable imo.
In short, I hope you remember to take time for yourself, or for your inner child, to play and laugh and let go.
