She's built like a brick!

Her chins have also multiplied tenfold!

I fear she is more chin than Rat! She may be a chinchilla!

This is the before and after of Athena!!

The one on the right is how she looked days before her surgery! Her tumours were pretty hefty!

The one on the left is how she looks now! Tumours gone, pretty much all healed up and looking like her normal self again!! I'm so happy to see the progress! It's crazy!

The vet did a fantastic job! And I did a fantastic job cleaning her wounds and looking after her this past month!

I am a proud rat momma! ☺️

The second photo is just a bunch of photos of what her wounds look like! As you can see, they are healed! Both wounds have closed up and they're starting to disappear under her fur! You can still see where the surgical sites were, but she's healed up really well!

As you can also see, she is starting to gain weight again!

She was about 360 when she first had the tumours removed!

She was 600+ with the tumours! So the tumours were pretty much half of her body weight! 😭

Now she's back up to over 400! And her appetite has come back tenfold. She's trying to steal every bit of food she can get her hands on, including my dinner 😭

She's also regaining strength back in her back legs again! After not being able to move much for a month, she's a little weak and wobbly! So we've been giving her a bit of muscle therapy and letting her wander around the room! She's getting used to using her back legs again and is able to walk around and also pull herself up onto stuff!

Now hopefully she can just live out the rest of her life getting to be a normal rat again! She will be going back to the rest of the group as soon as she's gotten her footing back again, so at least she can somewhat defend herself from the other girls trying to mount her 🤣

We have been doing free roam with them all here and there whilst Athena has been recovering and the girls definitely still remember her, they've been very curious, sniffing her a lot and wondering what the heck is happening with her. But they've also been trying to mount/hump her and show dominance with her, which Athena hasn't been a fan of.

But no aggression or anything! Which is a good thing!

I've noticed one or two puffing ups! But only the first initial time seeing each other, then they calmed down! If anything, Athena was the one puffing up a lot! But I think it's purely because she couldn't really defend herself much when still recovering, so it's understandable. I'm not sure Athena wants to go back in with them 🤣 ol' lady is fed up of the youngens 😂

I haven't played Heartopia in a while and I just logged on purely to see what was new, out of interest, and then I was just going to log off. I haven't really been that invested in the game as of lately.

This person came over to me and sent me a friend request, at first I didn't really think much of it since people do this a lot. But I could tell from the way this person was writing, I believe they were just a kid!

They weren't being weird or anything like that, I think they just genuinely started playing the game and wanted to just make a friend.

They asked to see my house, so I showed them around. Then they asked to go fishing, so I took them to the beach to catch some fish. Then they wanted to take some photos with me, so we took some pictures in the flowers!

Cut down some trees and we ran into some ferrets, so I showed them how to feed the ferrets!

They kept saying things like 'youre my favourite friend' and calling me bestie 🤣 and saying they were happy!

I felt too bad to log off honestly, so I just stayed and entertained it for a while, until they eventually said they had to go and we said goodbye!

Sweet kid, but if this is your kid, just make sure they stay safe online and monitor who they're friending and talking to!

Thankfully this time, it was only awkward ol me 😂

But it could of been some weirdo. 👀 You never know.

She's a real cutie, but she ordered her food in a Pikachu bowl, which is kind of embarrassing! Should I say something or just let it slide? 😳

Bet it feels so nice after not being able to for a while!

I have to put her on my chest and cuddle and stroke her head to soothe her after cleaning her wounds!

She ends up nearly falling asleep on me bless her!

Saw the blanket rustling about and then her little head just pops out the side 😭🤣 was laughing so much!!! She's so silly!

The boggles were so intense they almost came out of her head!
