2000 Mercury Grand Marquis - Worth buying?

Went and seen a 2000 Marquis, 210,343 miles on the odometer.

Ran fine, fluids were alright, but was missing half of the exhaust, so it didn't really have power. Rust on the underside looked alright except the driver fender.

Basically I'm asking if this is worth taking on, they're asking 1500, but the guy said 1300 is alright. Exterior is overall pretty rough, paint chips, etc, rear trunk latch falling off. Couldn't find any service history on paper, I may run the vin later to check. Also, I ran a scanner and like 8 codes popped up 😭

Repair/Diagnosis Help

2005 TSX here, 168k on the odometer.

Past couple thousand ish miles, there's been issues w/ temps, they'll rocket up if i continue on the gas (ex. staying going 70-80 on the highway), but stay stable and eventually drop back down to below the midpoint of the temp gauge when I let off (stay going 55-65). From what I'm aware, my coolant reservoir looks to be leaking at the cap. I've ordered the cap and hose going into the radiator from it, (from acura.oempartsonline.com , but the shipping is taking forever), but could it possibly be something else? Bad thermostat?

And also, I've noticed about ~3k miles after an oil change, when I do some spirited driving / up or down a sharp incline or decline, the oil pressure light comes on flashing, but it will drive fine while thats happening. Is this due to burning oil? No visible leaks from the engine or under overnight.

Any info or help is appreciated. Thanks.
