I am just looking for some input. I am in the Toronto area in Canada and have a quote to re-roof with one supplier using GAF Timberline HDZ and they will provide a 50 year transferable warranty. Their quote is about 30% more than a 2nd quote for IKO Dynasty with a 15 year warranty. I probably will not be in the house in 20 years. Both are experienced long term roofing companies. Any comments on pros and cons on each approach.
