SO MANY SPOILERS What do you think they did after the S7 finale?
Jane tells Abbott he has no idea what his plans are after the immediate-term stuff, and then there’s Lisbon’s news at the end.
*do not read on if you have not watched the whole thing I beg*
My headcannon is that they both stay with the FBI until Lisbon’s mat leave, but on the compromise she isn’t in the field. (She insists that means he isn’t either).
Then I think Jane becomes a stay at home dad and Lisbon goes back to the FBI. When Baby Jane is old enough, Jane starts teaching observation classes to trainee agents to teach them about micro expressions and so on.
Lisbon eventually becomes head of unit after Cho is promoted to something else.
My fictional, much longed-for season eight starts with this set up, and Baby Jane is about six or seven so old enough to be a charming little menace.
