i searched on reddit for solutions and a guy had a "portable" directx which i had to paste into the same folder which the game exe was, which i did but nothing changed, it still showed the same error.

my favourite games currently are hollow knight + silksong, which both get boring after multiple 112%/100%. so i tried cuphead, it was fun at first and idk what it is but something about the game bothers me so i just let it be. ive been on a search for new games for a while but nothing seems to catch my eye. please note that my pc is very bad, barely withholding hollow knight at only 4gb of ram, i have no idea what the other components of this pc are tho.

does anyone know where the save files of hollow knight are in the folder? id like to play the path of pain again but idk where to add the downloaded save file...
