Hello! I adopted a kitten a couple of months ago. he had a URI when I got him, and I had to go to an ER vet as the one that would be his primary was not available. Unfortunately, that ER tech put in his notes that he had signs of gingivitus, ”concerning for stomatitis.”
However, when I later went to his primary care vet for vaccines and a wellness exam, she noted that there was no signs of tartar or gingivitis in her notes. however, she put in the notes that he had been seen at an ER for the URI.
I’m just wondering: will the insurance company ask for the ER records with the conflicting info from my primary care doc? and if so, do you have any advice? thank you!!
