Today I was reminded that co-workers can't be trusted.

I never liked that talking with co workers is usually surface level bullshit conversations. But today I was reminded why it's usually that way. I told my co worker that giving trainings was one of my least favorite things to do, and I don't really like to do it. But I do it anyway because it's work for and it keeps me busy, and it's usually more money for me since we travel out for our jobs. Same goes for the people on my team.

Well my boss reaches out to me, basically saying that co worker will now be doing more of the trainings, and even taking some of the trainings I was scheduled for. It's no coincidence that I told this to my co worker yesterday, and my boss tells me this today. Also no one on my team likes to give trainings, but it's part of the job so we do it.

But fuck my co worker who is a rat! From when he started I didn't really like him, but now he can absolutely get fucked!

Why are they like this?!

I live in Utah County. I was working out at the gym the other day and this old man starts to workout next to me. He starts up a conversation with me, just small talk stuff for about 10-15 min. After that short amount of time he ask's "Are you a member of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints"? I told him "no". I was going to say that I used to be, but didn't want to give explanation as to why I left the church. After I said I wasn't a member of the church, he looks away and stops talking to me!

WTF lol! Anyways... I have decided this guy is going straight to outer darkness!

Whats been your experience meeting/dealing with Utah Mormons? My sister who lives in Texas is an active member. She said that once the members there find out her and her husband are from Utah they get treated different and theyre not really liked. Basically her conclusion is members not from Utah dont like Utah Mormons. Thats been her experience. (She's also lived in Nebraska and Georgia and experienced it there as well).

Growing up in utah theres a mentality here that ive seen. Its a holyer than thou/keeping up with the Joneses... things like that. So maybe its that? Idk. But I find it funny. And its just another reminder for me why im glad I left the church.
