Jura X10 milk frother not working - suggestions
I know this is a common problem and I’ve tried a few things, but haven’t had much luck. I’ve replaced the tubing, the connectors on the tubing and the frothing nozzles. I’ve run repeated cleaning cycles on the unit itself. I’ve soaked the internal pieces in cleaning material and inspected each for any clogs. The only things I haven’t replaced are the milk cup and lid or the internal pieces. I’m running off of things to replace. I can purchase a new cup and lid, but don’t want to throw money after the problem unless it seems like a solution. The vendor who sold it to us came and checked it out, but he failed to fix it (and I don’t think he really knew the system better than I did tbh).
The frother starts both the foam and steam actions with the expected normal steam, then begins sputtering. As you can see in the video, when it switches from steam to froth, it stops sputtering for a second and then returns to frothing.
