I noticed that a huge number of both locals and tourists in Thailand wear clogs/Crocs-style footwear. During my trip, I saw many markets selling them at very low prices, sometimes around 400 baht or even less depending on the location.

What surprised me was how popular they are and how similar many of them look compared to branded versions sold internationally at much higher prices.

This got me thinking about the business side of it. I'm interested in learning more about Thailand’s footwear wholesale markets and manufacturers, especially suppliers producing unbranded or private-label clog-style footwear for export.

Does anyone know good wholesale markets, factory areas, or sourcing platforms in Thailand where I could connect directly with manufacturers rather than middlemen?

Also, as these products are not officially made by the Crocs brand, would there be legal or customs issues if someone resells them in another country under the Crocs name? Curious how this works internationally.

▲ 3 r/Krabi+1 crossposts

On an overnight bus to Krabi and will reach by 9am. Checking into a hotel at 2pm in Ao Nang. Will be spending 3 days in Krabi and heading to Phuket.

Planned day 2 for Hong Island and day 3 for Phi Phi Island tours. I'm unsure what to do on Day 1. From the time I reach Krabi at 9am on day 1, I have some time until checking into the hotel at 2pm and some time in the evening as well. Is there anything worth seeing on day 1? Or should I change my itinerary completely?
