I stepped on the scale this morning and couldn't believe it. To say it's been an exciting journey is an understatement. I'm almost to my last week on 9mg before I titrate up to the 25mg.
For me the key has been the gym. I go 5-6 days a week and grind. My main goal has been to not lose muscle mass so I power lift fairly extensively. No cardio but I use my lifting as my cardio and move fairly quickly between sets. I'm a former college football player so I just use the same mindset I had then and it's been really fun.
As far as side effects I don't have any other than occasional constipation. My appetite is and has been non existent on a consistent basis since starting the 1.5mg. That's been the most rewarding part of the journey for me - the food noise going away. There's times when I have to remind myself to eat.
In regards to diet I'm only focusing on high protein and low carb. I'm pretty sure my body is in ketosis which has been nice because my energy levels haven't been destroyed from the caloric deficit.
