Watched a movie called “Outcome” on AppleTV+ on Friday night and the main character (Keanu Reeves—!) plays a Hollywood star who is forced to confront his past with an apology tour after being mysteriously blackmailed—and one scene is his entire team (including his lawyer played by Jonah Hill) saying the blackmail will enable him to use the “victimhood spark.” They said victimhood is the only way to be rich and famous in this culture. I immediately thought of John! lol…
Baby boy can’t claim this anymore. He’s had every opportunity to date good women and chooses his ego, and fear instead.
At this point I feel he’s actually harming his reputation more [than dating someone who’s good for him that perhaps isn’t famous] by negating his words (wanting to settle down w someone he truly cares for) with opposite actions (vapid/PR-facing relationship only).
I really hope he aligns his priorities and his actions very soon. I suppose it’s a big leap of faith and those are scary. But I think he can do it.
Wishing him well 🤍🚩🤍🚩😘
PS: This was a great movie!! Lots of similarities in Keanu’s character’s story to John’s.
