What kind of bender do you think you are?

I've taken a lot of those online quizzes and the results I've gotten the most consistently are Earth and Fire. So..I guess I'm a Lavabender lol.

Edit: I just took the OFFICIAL quiz and I was right- I'm an Earthbender.

My thoughts on S1

This is my first time watching. I would've watched sooner if I were older (I was 3 when it aired). I love it dearly already. Oh, and for some reason, S1 only had 49 episodes but I've heard other people got 52? That might be because the episodes were paired together.

Story

I'm gonna be honest, it feels like they crammed the story into the last 5 episodes with little breadcrumbs scattered earlier on, like Lapis. I don't mind though, since the earlier episodes were good even if they were a bit self-contained.

Characters

GARNET, LAPIS, AND PEARL ARE THE BEST CHARACTERS AND NOBODY WILL EVER CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE.

I also liked Connie, Amethyst, Jasper, and Peridot, just not as much. Sadie could also go here..if she were a main character.

Steven and Greg are fine, sometimes they're a bit too goofy (especially Steven) but I can excuse it. That Jasper-Lapis fusion was weird, but I'm not counting that because it may as well have been one of them with a new body.

Alexandrite has unlocked a new form of utter disgust within me. I don't like Lars.

I wish I could shatter Sugilite without shattering Garnet or Amethyst. No, the Minaj has nothing to do with it, I just hate that stupid fusion and I refuse to believe GARNET made it.

Not sure how I feel about Connie's parents though. Same for Ruby and Sapphire.

(NOOO MI TORTA)

Lore

Homeworld intrigues me, as do the Kindergartens and Rose. I knew Garnet was a fusion prior to starting because of f*cking twitter, but it was still cool to look for hints. Especially when talking to Stevonnie, that cancelled out the Alexandrite and Sugilite stuff with how happy it made me.

Anyways, give me Lapis back, I like Jasper but she still sucks, get that sweet blue girl out of the ocean.

wow

I was rolling stats and..

1st roll: 15

2nd: 18

3rd: 14

4th: 17

5th: 16

6th: 13

If god does exist, I'm thanking him.

Edit: Here's where I'm putting the stats. 18/14/18(+2)/18(+1)/15/13. This character is a blood hunter, but I feel kinda bad for using it since he's level 1 and I wouldn't want my DM to think I was cheating.

Edit2: I have since knocked the 13 down to a 6, which is Charisma. This character isn't really a people person anyway.

This character's name is Aleksandr Popov (that's Russian if anyone was curious). He is a Half-Orc Blood Hunter (basically a monster hunter who uses blood magic) and he specifically hunts undead (this is what we call cruel irony because he's technically undead by virtue of having died and soon being resurrected through less-than-pleasing ways that may or may not have caused a fracture in his soul).

He uses a halberd and uses the Rite of the Frozen (an ability that lets him take a little damage to add a little damage to his attacks in game). He also has spooky eyes and I absolutely would say his sclera (eye whites) turn black when he uses his abilities. Prior to being a Blood Hunter, he was a soldier, and the necklace in the picture was a gift from one of his late comrades.

Here's a pinterest board of stuff to help, lmk if it doesn't work: https://pin.it/ltpUh3NAJ

I think so because out of the 3, he was the only one to catch her interest and they compliment each other pretty well in terms of both design and personality.

MacGuffin's colors are muted, Merida's are bold. Merida is slim and agile while MacGuffin is strong and heavyset. Merida is outgoing, MacGuffin is shy.

I personally headcanon that they at least gave a relationship a try after the movie ended.

The thing I remember the most clearly is the vibe. Weirdly, it reminds of Backrooms Found Footage stuff, there might have even been the old camera effect and two black boxes on each side of my vision.

Anyways..Playtime learned to control peoples' minds via eye contacts. PJ was back and..fused with Elliott Ludwig like it was Steven Universe, which led to a boss fight. I think I was also seeing everything from the perspective of Dogday, but the kind you might see a furry artist protray him as.

There were also some wild cameos. Connie from Steven Universe, Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus, and Vanny from FNAF are the ones I remember the most clearly, but I think lego Eminem was there too.

I think this was the moment Amethyst fully won me over.

I didn't like her when I first started watching, but she's grown on me.

Also this is my first time watching and a friend just told me she goes through a wild character arc. No details on what that arc is, don't worry. I'm on the Mirror Gem episode right now.

Edit: GARNET, GREG'S SONG WASN'T THAT BAD-

(I'm on Ocean Gem now)

I'm watching the beach episode of S1 atm and the fact that things like the gems not needing food just being casually dropped around strangers is funny to me. I don't know why.
