I guess most Bitsians/ex bitsatards ko toh boards criteria ki tension leni bhi nahi padi hogi but agar kisi ke saath aisa hua ho toh apna experience share kariye. Mera toh chemistry mein bohot bura haal hogaya tha, ek toh boards ke ek month pehle hi appendicitis hogaya tha upar se itne harami sets mile mujhe PCM mein kya bolu... like I know sab apne hi set ko difficult bolte hai, mere region pe physics and maths toh phir bhi moderate tha but Chem genuinely bohot dogshit tha, completely filled with organic, weightage toh bas naam ka diya hai CBSE ne. And upar se yeh mera "strongest" subject tha, JEE January attempt mein literally 80/100 aaya tha even though I was suffering physically but board exams ke din pata ni kya hogaya. JEE toh mera goal tha bhi nhi and maine uske liye kabhi dhang se padhai ki bhi nahi maine bas PYQs spam kare the (got 98.6%ile), end goal toh BITS G tha yeh kya gobar kardiya maine🥀

Bhai apne dosto se yeh dukh share bhi nahi kiya jaa raha because woh toh muh pe has denge yeh bolke ki 98 percentiler hoke bhi boards mein 75/100 laana mushkil padh raha hai mujhe.🤡🤡

This is gonna be long as fuck and I dont expect anyone to read this, bas yeh journaling ke tarah likh raha hu jisko main result ke baad update karunga like expected vs result type to see ki checking kaisi hui hai

**REGION 4**

So abhi recently april attempt khatam hua mera, probably gonna get around 98 percentile. Doesn't matter, general hu toh itne pe kuch nahi milne wala dhang ka

Board exams was more frustrating than JEE ngl. Especially PCM. Now I am not saying it was more difficult than JEE, but idk why board results is more anxiety inducing than JEE results.

Since mein pura saal JEE ke liye hi padha toh boards ke liye I researched on youtube about high weightage topics and reddit pe jo toppers advise dete hai ki kya padhna hai for a decent score, I did 5 years ka PYQs, all the derivations and I already had a good hold on numericals so I thought ki 55/70 tak aa hi jayega. Like all my other friends were also doing the same thing, important topics, derivation, laws and mcq practise. But mere set pe sabse pehle toh high weightage topics ya chapters se kuch aaya hi nahi, no define this, no laws, mushkil se 1 derivation diya hoga, and i think.. ek ya do numericals? Jo teachers bol rahe the ki har saal aata hai iss saal bhi aayega, bilkul galat tha. Agar koi junior yeh post dekh raha hai toh meri galtiyo se sikho and try to cover all the topics equally, I mean mera bhi syllabus complete tha but I focused too much of my energy on the "important topics" and fucked up. More frustrating thing for me was seeing other regions ka set jaha pe ACTUALLY mein high weightage chapters se question aaya tha. FAIL TOH NAHI HU BUT WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT

So that was for physics, but honestly maine zyada socha ni uske baare mein as I thought baaki subjects toh hai hi. Now, chemistry is like one of my strongest subjects, JEE mein I am getting around 80/100. Mereko laga boards mein toh aim karna hi chahiye 60+/70. Again I was proven wrong. Mere jo dost the woh IOC +PC karke soch rahe the unka 35-40/70 toh aa hi jayega. We were all proven wrong again. Pura paper his organic se bhar diya. Now my organic is not weak at all, but woh ek shock lagne ke baad mind blank hone lagta hai na? That was me. I still haven't calculated ki kitna marks aa sakta hai, but I am HOPING FOR 45/70. Like isse niche aaya toh mera game khatam.

But my chemistry teacher still reassured us by saying that it was a tough paper, surely moderation lag jayega toh isse move on karke baaki papers pe dhyan do

Ab baari aati hai.. maths ki. Now a lot of JEE students might relate to the fact that we do kinda neglect mathematics. So already L lage hue the mere. I mean to say, JEE mein jo high weightage chps the woh toh bohot hi acche se kar rakhe the maine, but baaki🥀🥀
So I covered the entire NCERT, PYQS. RD wagera karne ka time nahi tha, and mereko honestly 55-65+/80 bhi chalta at this point. NOW I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO DESCRIBE THIS PAPER. LIKE THIS ONE WAS ACTUALLY HEARTBREAKING FOR ME BECAUSE OF TWO REASONS:

1. physics mein har saal hi tough aata hai so I wasn't as shocked and chem mein moderation ka dilasa tha
2. ISS PAPER MEIN ACTUALLY SAARE QUESTIONS HI DEKH KE LAG RAHA THA BANJAYEGA

LIKE I WAS SO FUCKING HAPPY WHEN I GOT MY SET, I WON'T SAY IT WAS FULLY EASY, BUT SAARE QUESTIONS MAINE KABHI NA KABHI PRACTICE KIYA THA SO I KNEW KI ACCHA SCORE KAR SAKTA HU

Section wise as I attempted the MCQs, 2 markers sab thik tha, but when I reached the 3 marks wale questions I noticed ki aise type ke questions toh 5 markers mein the last year... still I attempted all, per question mereko do se teen page lag gaya karne mein as I was doing a lot of steps keeping OSM in mind. Section D was AGAIN lengthy as fuck, but chalo koi ni then I fucking reached Section E and TEACHER ne kaha bas 20 min bache hai
