micro wedding in tokyo

Hoping for some insight, me and my fiancé got engaged last month and are hoping to be married next year in the spring, potentially during cherry blossom season, we are maybe going to have under 15 people. i’ve already reached out and plan to talk to several wedding planners over in japan through the phone.

We essentially just want it as cheap as possible and I keep getting worried and seeing that the cheaper end of things is equivalent to $26,000?? For reference we don’t want a traditional japanese wedding and I will be doing my own makeup and hair and probably renting my dress or getting it in a sample sale the goal for the dress is under $1,500 or $2,000.

I think we are planning on potentially going to an izakaya after or finding a place to have dinner afterward. and of course letting either of those know ahead of time for our bigger group.

I was thinking a budget of 8,000-9,000 USD is a good budget but now i’m not sure.

Can anyone who’s done this before give me some insight?
