How would this even cause this much damage?

Check my other post since I can't add photos as well, tiny piece of rubber in the road, didn't see it until the last minute, got sucked up in my rear wheel well, blew my tire and caused damage along the whole side of my car. Had to get it towed over an hour away to the closest Tesla approved body shop, over 5k in damage.

I hate semi trucks 😭😭

Just got her a couple of months ago, a semi tire blew out and couldn't move in time, a piece of their tire started going around in the wheel well, blew my tire out, somehow was hitting the side of the car as well causing dents and scratches. Had to get a tow and state farm dropped it off at a shop ( it isn't Tesla certified and there's only one shop that is like a hour or more away from me) may see if they will be able to get it at a certified shop. Checked my dashcam but can't really make out the trucks license plate or anything and they just drove off so I'll have to just make a insurance claim. 😭
