Any current scholars doing a double major?

Are there any current Hagan Scholars doing a double major? If so how do you manage? It’s something that I’ve been debating but I know Hagan cuts off funding at 140 credits. I need the scholarship reimbursement to be able to afford college so if that means I won’t have it covered fully than I probably won’t risk it.

When is the essentials check expected to come in?

So the email they sent us says that they’ll reach out to us at the end of June with and allow us to have access to the scholar portal where we than do a workshop report and only after that’s processed is the check sent?

Also are not listed essentials allowed as long as we justify them. I will be getting a laptop for college which will take away half of the fund, but what about things like a clothes dresser, simple makeup, curtains, and such

My super paranoid self was reviewing my supplemental submission and I realized the my tax returns are signed but the date next to it isn’t signed. My parents file their taxes online so at the time we signed the papers for the submission but forgot to put the date. I’m so sacred this will result in me losing the scholarship.

Hi, I just found out that I won a 10k outside scholarship, my entire first year tuition is covered. However I have a few questions.

  1. Will I be able to stay as a Hagan Scholar if I get it?

  2. Hagan requires you to use other scholarships first so I wouldn’t need their tuition reimbursement for my first year. Would I still be able to get reimbursed for my living expenses such as transportation? For context I’m going to be a commuter. And although they usually don’t allow first years to be commuters they’ve told me they do allow it in some cases. In my case, I live within the 25 mile radius which qualifies me to be a commuter. Dorming would’ve costed over 20k, which means I have to pay MORE even with the scholarship.
