I’m really enjoying collaging with illustrations from old books, because you can colour them in with watercolour, and they often already have such character.

the wood block is 3D and rounded at the edges.

they live in a portable pocket dimension called Casey, and do semi-legal smuggling for a living.

notable features: blonde mullet, cargo vest, arm wrap on left arm and hand, heeled boots, blue eyes (not particularly notable but you can’t see eye colour on the reference)

I have a very simplistic/stylised way of drawing, and I want to do some more detailed art of Callisto- a character from a comic I’m writing.

the problem is, I have no idea what their hair would look like if they were a real person. I’m thinking some kind of mullet maybe? what do you think?

also just for fun- what kind of character do you think they look like just from looking at them?
