I hand-wove these decorative bells as a gift for my new niece's nursery door! I think they turned out so sweet.

My weaving hobby sometimes gets a little out of control... currently working on a massive beach bag! 😅

I hand-weave baskets and bags using treated paper vines. It takes hours of rolling tubes and weaving, but it's the perfect way for me to zone out and relax. This tote is still a work in progress (hence the wild edges!), and I wanted it to fit all my beach essentials... but looking in the mirror, I’m worried it’s massive. Did I make it too big?

Made entirely out of woven paper vines. It’s a bit different from a classic basket, but the weaving techniques are very similar. Getting the curves right on the neck was a fun challenge. What do you think of the shape?

It took quite a while to prep everything, but seeing the spiral pattern finally come together is so satisfying. I made the base entirely out of woven paper vines (it's a beautiful light beige in person), and I sculpted every single butterfly myself from polymer clay. I wanted to create a sense of movement by mixing the sizes. I’d love to know what you think of the design!
