Is a modern shag realistic for me and did I get it right?

Hi,

I've been talking with AI and am hoping to check whether the cut I'm looking for is realistic, and whether the instructions would make sense to a stylist. I've never had long hair before, so there's lots of confusion and uncertainty.

Background: Last haircut I had was a year ago, a buzz cut with guard 2 on the sides, and guard 3 on top.

Goal: A feminine, face framing, flowy hair that is as low maintenance as possible. Ultimately I'm looking to grow the hair past my shoulders.

So in talking with AI, it seems the best option is a modern soft shag that would look good now and grow out decently, and be lowish maintenance as well.

These are the instructions that I'd like to go to the stylists with:

  • I’d like a soft, modern, feminine shag with blended, natural, soft layers, and something that works with my natural wave.
  • Nothing choppy or overly thinned please.
  • For the front, I would like long, soft face framing layers starting around cheekbone to chin level, blended into the rest of the hairstyle.
  • My hair gets bulky at the sides, so please keep weight but remove internal bulk so the hair falls downward, not outward.
  • Please keep the perimeter slightly weighty but not wispy, so it grows out well.
  • I’d like it to look good air-dried, not just styled.

Am I realistic? Did AI hallucinate? Are these good asks for a stylist? Any help is greatly appreciated!
