What if I turned this city generator into an OpenTTD-style game?
I’ve been developing a procedural city generator for a game I’m working on called CitySpotter, and it got me thinking — what if I used this system to make an OpenTTD-style game in the future?
I actually started this whole project after spending an entire afternoon playing OpenTTD 3 years ago, and began thinking about how I could create cities as easily as in the scenario editor. Now I’m wondering how it would feel to build a full transport sim on top of a system like this — it would be awesome.
What do you think about that?
