my guinea pig is living on antibiotics and i’m running out fast
back in february my 3 1/2 year old female guinea pig got an eye ulcer and she got antibiotic’s eye drops and pain meds for it and then she was done with meds a month later and seemed fine except her eye was a little blurry so then i think a month later she had a bad head tilt and was screaming so we took her to the vet again and she got strong pain meds and antibiotics. she just finished those meds after two weeks, beginning of april. and a week ago i picked her up and she cried when i touched her ear and tilted her head slightly. we started her on her leftover antibiotics a week ago and i feel like she’s not getting better the antibiotics are keeping her stable but we’re running out quick! i don’t know what to do because i’m out of a job and can’t afford to take her to the vet again. anyone know what is happening?
someone told me it might be this, i don’t know because she can still hear and see just fine but the antibiotics only keeping her stable and not fixing her seems to match up
