Job interview went well but they keep delaying the answer.

Had an interview on a monday. Things seemed to go really well, they were really happy throughout the interview and I felt a personal connection was made. At the end of the interview, they told me "we'll get back to you with an answer on Thursday, if not, Friday." Friday rolled around and I hadn't heard anything so I reached out at 4pm (office closes 5pm) just to see if I'd somehow missed something on my end. "sorry we've been delayed, finalising now and will contact you on Monday. Nice to meet you, thanks again for coming in". Another week has gone by. What's up?

Big day. Little boy.

Fred got to visit the oval this morning, which mostly involves running while squishing his chuckit ball (we don't throw it because he goes too hard and will inevitably hurt himself) and doing tricks. For his afternoon walk he got to go off lead in a big open nature reserve with lots of directions to follow and distractions to ignore (many roos in the distance and a few fox burrows that were tempting). He is physically and mentally exhausted, those ears are still listening out for dinner time though.
