What dishes or food brands do you like from other Latam countries?
For me: Argentina´s alfajor brands are top notch (Cachafaz and Havanna) and also Rapu Nui ice cream (I didn´t like Luciano´s).
Eu fiquei: cataploft!
Eu estou generalizando a descrição acima.

DF is made by only one city = Brasília.
Situation in the Northern states (Amazon) is looking pretty bad.

Where in your country the people are friendly, cold and short-temper?
Brazil
Welcoming/friendly -
Minas (1st and I can attest. People start chatting with you out of nowhere, even in Belo Horizonte) and Northeast (overall). Central States also (Goias etc).
Cold/Distant -
Curitiba (1st), Southern States, Espirito Santo (overall). People from Minas and Curitiba are the exact opposite. I also heard that people from Brasilia are "reserved"/cold (I have been there once, but never noticed).
Short-temper -
Rio (by far. Never ever mess with someone from Rio on a bad day. Sometimes they start fighting out of the blue, I find very funny) and Salvador (based on my own experience).
*For each State and city, surnames with less than 15 occurrences were not reported*
For States - Diversity
- Roraima now leads the country with migrants from Venezuela and a bitt less from other neighboring countries.
- Paraná in second place with old migrants from Europe and Asia (Japan, Middle East, Korea and China). Now, migrants from Venezuela and Haiti.
- Rondônia in third place with brazilian migrants from South, Espírito Santo and Northeast.
For capital cities - Diversity
- Vitória, Curitiba and Florianópolis: all cities with heavy European migration (mostly Italy, Germany and Poland). Curitiba and Florianópolis also with current migration from Venezuela and Argentina (for Florianópolis). Curitiba has also had a big migration from Asia.
States with heavy portuguese surnames presence:
- Alagoas, Sergipe and Bahia: old colonial areas with heavy mixed population between portuguese, native brazilians and africans.
States with less portuguese surnames presence:
- Santa Catarina, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul: the three southern states. Migration from Europe and Asia.

Moro no Bela Vista perto do metro São Joaquim.
Problema é a noite.
O problema é no trabalho.
In Brazil some names are quite common
Cauã, Iara, Tainá, Jacira, Moacir, Caíque etc
All coming from tupi language.
For me
Hate = Rio from favela and São Paulo upper-middle class. One too ghetto, the other too snobb.
Love = the accent from Minas. Cute and funny.
Here in Brazil we have a neutral accent. It does not exist anywhere, but on TV (news, tv shows, for instance).
Even actors have to have classes to reduce their regional accents and "to speak like TV".
This accent is halfway between Rio and São Paulo, a mix between.
Rio's strong S and Z are reduced, while São Paulo's strong R are also reduced.
Vowels are more opened and pronounced more clearly.
