Trying to recreate a Catulan Reaver, asking for some help

Greetings, Astartes! As the title suggests, I'm trying to recreate a Catulan Reaver with the idea that they are still Luna Wolves. After some digging, I ended up with many questions and hoped some more lore-savvy Astartes could help me with them.

As for the pictures, I tried to recreate the symbol as closely as possible to the Cthonian marking, and I think the first one is the better version. Additionally, regarding the headpiece, the closest one is from the White Scars, but I was also considering two other options: one with half of the head exposed (which looks great too), and another that is also close to some helmets depicted on the wiki or GW miniatures. Unfortunately, what we have doesn’t include spikes, but hey, you’ve gotta work with what you have.

I’d also like to ask about the pauldrons and eye color. On the wiki, the eye color looks grey (even for the SoH variant), but people usually paint them red, so I guess both options are good? As for the pauldrons, I painted one red and the other black, but I’ve also seen both painted red or both painted black. So I guess there isn’t one specific way to do it, and all of them work?

I chose this paint scheme because, as I understand it, this was how they looked when they were still Luna Wolves, and it didn’t change when they became the Sons of Horus. So in the end, were there different color schemes for the Catulan Reavers, this one and the greener one?

My Attempt at Khârn the Betrayer

Greetings! I was watching a lore video, and there was this lovely artwork featuring Khârn and Argel Tal, so I decided to try replicating him in the game. Unfortunately, the option for no arm armor isn’t available, but I got as close as I could. I also tried using more flesh-like paint for the armor, but it didn’t look very good.
Edit:
I’m aware that the pauldrons and backpack should be blue, but I wanted to emulate the provided artwork, which shows them as purple. Why? I have no idea, maybe the artist really likes purple, or this Khârn is secretly half Emperor’s Children :D

Some Night Lords Screenshots

Hello, fellow Astartes! I had some Night Lords screenshots that were left on the cutting room floor from my “My Night Lords Squad” post, and I really liked them, so I wanted to share them here as well.

Hope you enjoy them too, and happy Tyranid and karking traitor hunting!

My attempt at Loyal Night Lords Squad

"We ain't no karking cowards! Our kind of justice will be served, no matter if it's xenos or heretic. And if, in the process, we get some nice leather to work with, all the better."

This is my attempt at Night Lords. In my headcanon, they were part of something akin to an exchange program with the Raven Guard early on, before the Heresy (an idea proposed by a Terran-born Night Lords superior). The Raven Guard ship housing them got lost in the Warp, and now they’ve basically been adopted by the Raven Guard. And yes, don’t question their dialect.
I also want to mention that the skeleton the Bulwark carries belonged to a traitorous Night Lord, and the cloth on the Bulwark (which I tried to make look as close to skin tone as possible) also came from that traitor. The Techmarine is an odd one because, in addition to his Techmarine duties, he unofficially tries to learn Apothecary knowledge, which is shown by parts of his armor being painted white.
Colors:
BodyAlaitoc Blue (looks much better than their official color), White Scar (mask), Mephiston Red (eyes)
TrimAuric Armour Gold
EmblemWhite Scar and Khorne Red
Other trim (skulls)Wraithbone (to give the impression that they grafted traitor skulls onto their armor)
