Just listened to the album through for the first time. Some good tracks on it and some cool guitar work, but my biggest issue is with the track "You Can't Walk Away Now"
For the most part, I did think it was a cool track where X is talking to Nikki about him becoming unfocused and starting to slip and want out. But here is where I start having a massive issue, in the first Mindcrime, in the track "Suite Sister Mary" at the beginning, we hear X telling Nikki to kill Marry and the Priest. But "You Can't Walk Away" backtracks that completely and it is told to Nikki over the phone to kill Marry which completely pissed me off.
I don't think anyone was expecting this album to be even close to Mindcrime 1, but good lord, it's just lazy to rewrite the most pivotal part in that story.
