I feel like Facebook groups, especially neighborhood ones, used to be about real people and actual community.

Now it’s like half the posts are anonymous or from profiles that might as well be named something like “AdventurousOtter,” and the other half are people with their full name, family, job, and everything out there.

It’s just a weird mix. Like you’ll have someone posting anonymously about something random, and then someone else replying with their whole life attached to their profile.

I get going anonymous for personal stuff, but when a ton of people are doing it, it kinda defeats the point of a “community” group.

At that point it just feels like Reddit.
