Request for Usability Feedback: Custom Upload Stickers/Reveals
Hey everyone! Last week we tried a "Feedback Friday" for our upcoming Token Menu rebuild, as well as our Condition Tracking and Enlarge/Reduce Token Size features. 78 comments later.... we got some incredible feedback. Thank you so much. We've been poring over it all week and iterating on what you saw.
We're not planning on doing Feedback Fridays every week (or even always on Fridays), but I do have one more thing in the perfect stage for some feedback, so I'm back again to do another. :)
This week, it's a slice of our upcoming Custom Uploaded Stickers, Reveals, and Token Art feature. We're looking for feedback on our rebuilt Asset Browser experience - this would be for Stickers and Reveals.
The first thing you'll notice - we're moving away from a folder-first navigation system and toward a filtering-first approach.
As we introduce custom uploaded assets, we know people will want to use the same sticker or reveal for multiple things, or in multiple campaigns. Folders are a very rigid structure that forces users to spend a lot of time building folder trees and managing where files live, which is not how we want you to use your precious D&D prep time. Searching and filtering based on tags and metadata let you upload once, then never worry about where you put it.
We know this is a big change, so we wanted to get your feedback on our approach to it.
Please, walk through the images and leave your feedback in the comments.
