Need a good File Explorer/Manager that has a modern UI

Im currently using DV File Explorer that I do like but I can't help but wonder if there's one that's just better. A lot of them basically look the same and not really different from each other. I'm not rooted but I do have Shizuku if it's relevant. Im not really sure if File Managers can be different from others. I've just rocked DV for so long I never bothered trying something else.

Features I'm looking for... Modern UI if possible, one that doesn't look like it was built on Android Kit-kat Some king of customization/organization. I want to be able to get into certain folders fast. Download, Movie and pictures especially.

Im not needing extra stuff but it's a bonus I guess.

Any books on cold war submarines written from the Russian side

I've read quite a few books on submarines from Cold War to WW1. But none were from the Russian perspective. I would assume post 1990 some of the retired guys would want to cash in on a cold war submarine novel.

Can I force a reconnect to wifi after weak signal disconnect

Where I live is a guest house using the main house wifi for the time being. The signal gets so weak it disconnects alot. Even with auto connect enabled in settings. It isn't a fast reconnect. If I do it manually the wifi connects immediately.

So I'm hoping I can use tasker with wifi connect to force a auto connect immediately after a disconnect. All on the same wifi network

Could you run a true quad full exhaust for a different higher pitched sound

So I was just exploring my brain on ways to make a car exhaust sound more unique and away from the normal Coyote or LT sound. I don't think car exhaust sounds as good as it used to.

So from front to back. Header to tips

  1. Long Tube headers 4-2 but not into 1. A dual collector 2 inches.
  2. Run two total exhaust pipes on each side from the collector to the exhaust tips.
  3. I figure 4 total 2 inch piping would come close to dual 3 inch exhaust.

Use Helmholtz (J Pipes) somewhere along the exhaust to lower potential rasp and and low RPM drone

And muffler of your choice not sure at all.

In theory this would work right and create a higher pitched natural exhaust sound that sounds different than the usual.

How many of you started playing CODM in year 1 late 2019-2020

Just curious how many of you are original year 1 players that are still active with the game. Come October the game will be 7 years old since public release. I personally steered away from serious play. I was the daily competitive guy who stayed in legendary MP and BR

Sunprot Manager built in tools vs built in module redundancy

So I'm new to the Magisk, Shizuku, Sunprot Manager world. I was afraid of to many modules conflicting so as far as tweaking I'm running just Sunprot Manager.

My question is the built in toggle tweaks are basically the same as the built module tweaks. At least in naming. What does one vs the other do?

How do you like Sunprot vs other options.

So I'm a smart shopper. I buy those deals and I lean away from big box store brands because of overpriced retail set prices. So I went to a company like Edifier. So now that my earbuds stopped (They won't charge anymore) what can I get in that $100 range. These weren't ANC but they offered 10-12 hours of playback on a single charge. I haven't kept up with the audio world in years now. So I need any help I can get.

Just noticed this a few hours ago in YouTube. English dub as an for all languages. Tested in Morphe Revanced YouTube as well

In each video screen select settings - audio track - auto dubbed English

Makes me curious this can't be all that hard to implement. Hoping other video stream sites will offer this option as well. To watch foreign videos in English is big.

So looking at various app categories from free to grossing. I scratch my head sometimes. One category a app has a 3.2 rating but it's 1 in that category while you have all these 4.5 to 4.9 apps that are down the list.

Im running a Pixel phone that's in need of some help because of a recent update. Researching apps that Doze, Hibernate and control other aspects when the screen is off. I've found Island, Shelter, Insular, Hail, Enforce Doze, and Battery Tool. That's 6 alone without doing more research. I'm sure there's more so it's a bit overwhelming on what to choose and why. I want something strong with features and options.

I'm a power user so it's important for a good dependable better than the others app to use. Im really new to Open Sourced stuff.

I never knew this was a feature. Default setting on your flashlight is probably 50%. Max intensity is very impressive I gotta say

If you didn't know how to adjust it press the flashlight part of the icon and not the actual flashlight photo. If you never enabled it before you need to hold down on the flashlight wording part of the icon. Once you do this I think every time it gives a pop up with a the flashlight intensity pop up. It's crazy cause I used flashlight daily. Only doing a pixel feature search did I learn of the features.

Anyone know of any new pretty useful features added the past year you might not know?

So Monday or Tuesday I will be going to a big shop locally in my city for a test run. He said try me out for a few days and see how it goes.

The shop does car wrap, detailing, and window tint. I talked to the owner for about an hour on the phone. I'm going as a detailer but I let him know I want to gain experience wrapping and tinting.

I'm 44 and been dabbling in detailing for 25 years. I'm just ready for that career change of something I want to enjoy; coming from retail management.

I just don't know what to expect or what he will have me do. I told him I'm comfortable with paint correction using a DA which is what they use. Luckily the owner is younger and down to earth, easy to talk too. Im not at all worried about my abilities. Because I'm not detailing cars daily my speed probably isn't as high as it could be yet.

Any tips or advice anybody can give me is appreciated. I'm really really excited for being a 44 year old man, lol. But I'm really nervous too.

4 Years ago with the help of Dante and SHM. I could get all the Galaxy Watch features blood pressure and ECG. Now with again the help of Dante we do have ECG but no hope for Blood Pressure in sight

I love WearOS and I won't own a Samsung phone. The last 5 years I've only been using OnePlus or Google phones

What watches in 2026 do you suggest these days outside of Galaxy Watches

This is a local car in my city. There is also an R8 with the same theme. I saw facebook post that showed 6 Troopers had this guy pulled over a little ways back. It's known now but I bet a trooper seeing this for the first time in a darker part of the day or night. I posted a pic of a real Mustang Tennessee Highway Patrol vehicle to show the similarities.

I figure everyone on this thread has read or reads some type of non fiction submarine book. So other the all of the usual stories we know. Im more interested in stories that aren't famous missions. Like a time a submarine lost control in pitch black hitting the bottom at 1,000 feet or something. Emergencies. I do find the Uboat WW2 stuff interesting. Iron Coffins I also read recently.

So looking for recommendations

Update - Thank you guys so much for recommendations
