Rick and Morty Season 9 is coming, but waiting until August for Max feels brutal

Rick and Morty Season 9 premieres on Adult Swim on May 24, but according to the official Warner Bros. Discovery press release, it won’t be available for U.S. streaming until August 31.

As someone who mainly uses Max for HBO shows, Adult Swim stuff, and animation, that wait feels kind of painful.I know this is probably normal licensing/windowing stuff, but it still makes my Max subscription feel weirdly useless for a show that feels like it belongs in the Max ecosystem. I’m interested in the new season, but I’m not interested enough to chase a live Adult Swim option just to watch it weekly.

So now I’m stuck in that annoying streaming situation again: keep paying for Max while waiting, or cancel and come back in August when the season actually lands on streaming. This is becoming the main reason I rotate subscriptions now. I like Max, but there are too many months where I’m paying for future access instead of actually watching anything new.

Anyone else just waiting until August for Rick and Morty Season 9? Or are you watching it weekly on Adult Swim?

Is AI Getting Better or are people actually building the skill?

ai modles had access to approximately 1% of world data available for training. rest of the 99% is behing firewalls andproprietary. I've been thinking about this for a while.

with ai becoming available to the general public within the last few years,we've all seen the increase of AI generated content flooding everything - books,YouTube, Ins reels, reddit post, reddit comments, news articles, images, videos, etc....

that's actually a pretty wild feedback loop when you think about it we're basically creating AI echo chambers where models are just regurgitating slightly modified versions of the same small data slice over and over

I use 5 different AI platforms, last years around 50% of the top 30 amazon best sellers from GPT and acciowork actually overlap.but now their output is not similar in the slightest, even when using the same prompts on each one. why???

what are your thoughts?

Which olive oil tastes more like butter?

Recently switched from butter to olive oil and I'm struggling. I loved the taste of it so much.

Someone told me some varieties are milder and almost have a buttery quality to them but I have no idea where to start.

Any help appreciated.
