I don't think I've ever had a worst customer service experience

I'm checking my account this morning when I noticed an odd charge. I disputed it through the app.

They closed my card without warning. How did I find out my card was canceled? I tried to make a transaction, and it got declined. Now I know it's normal to cancel a card for fraudulent activity, but I disputed a charge that didn't look familiar.

I then called support to try to get answers. This call was one of the worst customer experiences I think I have ever had.

  1. I can no longer get a new card from a local branch.

  2. 5-7 business days to have a new one mailed out

  3. $32 to have a new card expedited

That means for 5-7 business days, I don't have access to my money, or I pay $32 to have one sent out sooner.

I was thinking about this during Heaven's River.

When they discovered that Star Fleet were Homer descendants after force breeding. I got to thinking that when Hugh came over to Heaven's River, it was Hugh without any replicative drift. When they force bred Homer to "bring him back" who's to say that each iteration wasn't Homer? At least one of those copies should have been the original restored if the math is mathing.

Update: Not till we are lost, chapter 51: accusations

Bill and Charles, Star Fleet are explicitly named as Homer's descendants.

There's been some debate in the comments about those clones not being viable, but it's there. They are indeed descendant from Homer, which means at least one of them is or was Homer.

Charles' descendants were responsible for the creation of the Bob's that became Star Fleet.
