Connecting Large Group of L/V Wires to Transformer

Connecting Large Group of L/V Wires to Transformer

I have little to no experience with low voltage lighting. I need to replace a transformer, but I am having some trouble finding one that will accept the large connectors you see in the photograph. It appears the lights are ran in series (I hope that is the correct term) and not just a single line that terminates at the end. There are three, 12-gauge negatives, and three, 12-gauge positives connected to each connector. What is the proper way to stepdown the large group of wires to a smaller connector that will fit a common transformer terminal? DO you step down the 3 wires to a single wire somehow or is there a better way? Rewiring the lights is not an option.

If you use a Racor R20T filter (and that filter exactly) on your boat, please let me know. The kind with the clear bowl that screws on the bottom of the filter.

Thank you!

I need to replace a PowerDrive (2004 model) Copilot remote. Does anyone have a line on a new one? Also, will the PowerDrive V2 remote work with the older PowerDrive?

Just wondering about the amount and quality of smoke that should be going through my offset smoker. I burn only wood (not against a charcoal coal bed, just never bought any) and I try to maintain temps with the amount of wood and with some positioning of the firebox door. I keep the stack open and try to match/regulate the conditions with opening or closing the firebox door to keep the fire from smoldering or burning too fast. My question is this:

Is too having too clean of a fire throughout the cook bad - bad in the sense some flavor and quality of the food suffers? Conversely, how much smoke is too much other than having bad tasting food? I do notice the bark on food that has been in the smoker for a longer period of time developes a pretty dark bark, but is that a sign of dirty smoke, though I do not see much other than clearish smoke leaving the stack?

What do you think?

Hello, all!

I just installed a new Terrova and a Humminbird Xplore. I have downloaded the OneBoat app and have paid for the annual subscription. I have followed the instructions on pairing the Terrova to my phone. The app says the motor and my phone are paired; however, when opening the “motor” feature, it says, “Motor Not Found.” Any idea why? Also, this might be really dumb, and I did not see it in the instructions manual, but does the trolling motor have to be in the deployed position for the app to connect with the motor? Thank you!
