Hey guys, I just wanted to ask like CA students target the Big 4, what are the top firms hiring for CS training? Also, what is the current articleship (training) duration, and how can someone land a Tier 1 company for training? I’d love to hear from people who have experience in this. Thank you!

Just for background: I’m a B.Com (Hons) graduate, 23 years old. I started CA during my B.Com because of family pressure, but I didn’t really like it, so I quit and switched to CS & CMA. Now I’ve cleared Inter for both, but I don’t know why I still feel very behind in life. My friends are already appearing for CA Final, and a few of them are in Big 4 firms and when I see people getting a good job at age of 21/23 It hurts.
I then thought of doing an MBA and started preparing for CAT, but my profile is pretty average. I feel I need to compensate either with work experience or a professional degree to get into a good Tier-1 B-school. I even had the thought of going back to CA again (also, what is the last date for direct entry registration for the Jan 2027 attempt? Is it May 1?).
Coming back, I’m really confused. There’s also pressure to get a good job before I cross 25. I need advice and opinions I’m very stressed these days.
I feel like I could have utilized the last 2–3 years better and maybe I shouldn’t have quit CA. The realization is hitting very late.
