Hello! I have a potential job offer at Henry Mayo Newhall as a RN. I’ll be leaving Kaiser after 20 years of service and a blockade in my career since they don’t have smooth transitions for their staff from LVN to RN. Anyways, any nurses working at Henry Mayo Newhall have any insight? I’ve only known Kaiser my entire life so looking to see what’s out there is all new to me. Thank you!
My reconnaissance lap. First time on a track. Five autox events prior experience. It does take a bit of courage but all in all a very thrilling experience. This was a beginner day with classroom sessions in between our driving sessions. No formal in car coaching. I left after the 3rd session because motorsport events are very exhausting. Additionally, Id much rather go to a track than go to autox; simply for the benefit of 20 minute driving sessions, the way the turns are banked (the G forces!), the elevation changes, and the higher risk definitely checked me as a driver. I definitely did not go into this with my autox mentality. But, this was always my plan, knockout some autox, get some seat time and make sure I had appropriate brakes for the track. I want to encourage beginners to do the same. I’m nobody special, not mechanically or technically talented when it comes to cars. So really anybody can go do this, it just takes a bit of cajones. Definitely hooked now and looking forward to more events. Of course more modifications need to follow. Anyways, thanks yall!
