Getting credit card points from car repair

I don't normally earn enough money to take advantage of credit card sign-up bonuses however I was just quoted $6000 for basically a full suspension rebuild on my car.
I'm looking at the ANZ Rewards Black card which would give me 180 000 ANZ rewards points if I can spend $5000 in the first 3 months.
Am I missing something or can I use this card to basically get a huge discount on my car repair?
