Roadside Business: Day 5 - Sales Update
Day 5 of My Roadside Business
I didn’t share any updates for the last 3 days because I didn’t set up my stall. I was feeling low and couldn’t gather the courage, maybe also because I don’t have a fixed place yet so I have to find an empty spot in the market before setting up my stall. But Still I pushed myself yesterday and went back again.
This time I also added shirts. I’m selling them for ₹200 each or ₹500 for 3.
I also made a simple stand using PVC pipes for the clothes. It’s a rough DIY setup that I can assemble and disassemble easily. It cost me around ₹250–₹300 (check images 2 & 3).
Also, a big thank you to a fellow Redditor who bought all remaining 8 pairs of shoes from me and actually paid for 10 pairs. That really meant a lot, I’ll donate the 8 pairs of shoes on his behalf, and use the remaining amount (₹400) to donate other products to people in need.
Day 5 update: Sold 2 pairs — ₹400 total, 0 Shirts Sold
Thank you all for the kind words and support, it means more than you think.
Trying to stay consistent and get back on track. Some days are tough, but I’m not giving up.
