Why didn't Olivia Rodrigo make Happier single?
I think "Happier" is one of the most famous and best songs in sour, so why didn't she didn't make it a single?

I’ve been thinking about the Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides era, and while the original rollout was iconic, I can’t help but imagine a different strategy. If I were in charge, here’s how I would’ve structured the singles:
1st Single: Immaterial
I truly believe if this was the lead single, it would have gone absolutely viral in 2017. It’s infectious, high-energy, and has that perfect crossover potential to introduce the world to her sound.
2nd Single: It’s Okay to Cry
Following up with this would show her range. Since it's a beautiful, emotional ballad, it’s a track that even people outside the Hyperpop bubble can connect with and appreciate.
Final Pre-Album Single: Faceshopping
This would serve as a "light snack" for the hardcore fans right before the album drops—setting the tone for the more experimental side of the project.
What about Ponyboy?
I love the track, but I feel like it would’ve hit even harder as a post-album single. It has such a raw, aggressive energy that feels like a reward once you've already experienced the full atmosphere and journey of the album.
I’m curious to hear what you guys think! Would this have changed the album's impact, or was the original order perfect for you?
I am a new fan, and when I listened to "It's Okay to Cry," I fell in love with her voice; it is so calm and beautiful and my question why she didn't sing more songs with her voice
