Went to a game on a whim during a time when grief felt insurmountable. I couldn't remember the last time I had actual real fun. Unfortunately for my wallet, hockey has taken over my life now, but wow! It is so good to have something to cheer for & our GIRLS. What a team :')

The toxicity in the league has really been bringing me back down, but I've decided I'm being a dumb stupid idiot if I let online hate ruin something good for me! I'm happy in our chilly little corner of the world. Excited for what our girls have in store for us next season and can't wait to see MTL lose.

Thank you all for making it so easy to feel at home in this space. Thank you for the loon jerseys and pride gear. Thank you for being such a warm and welcoming community during such dark times (can't say that about the rest of the PWHL lol)

I live about 70min from the cities and this year has obviously been traumatizing. The fear and grief touched my own community deeply & we struggled to protect our neighbors while bracing for the violence to reach us next. The strength and resilience demonstrated in Minneapolis spared us from the worst of it. So, so grateful.

Things felt hopeless, so I started watching women's hockey as a way to cope and connect locally. Investing in the Frost has given me a sense of solidarity, identity, and joy that I haven't felt since the beginning of 2025. I found out I'm still capable of passion!

As a new fan, I feel actively and openly unwelcome in the PWHL community. Being queer makes it worse. I'm debating whether to step away entirely, which sucks because this was my lifeline in a time of crisis.

If the Frost hate was just typical shit talk, whatever, sports. The repeated attacks on values/moral character are different. Every platform, every post, flooded. It is cartoonish at this point. I have a negative impression of all other fanbases & am frustrated because I actually like some of the other teams! The reaction to today's game really opened my eyes to PWHL culture. I don't even want to follow along with the rest of the season because win or lose, the reaction will be nasty.

Just venting and feeling sorry for myself lol Frost fans have been great though, especially in person!
