I’ve had PCOD for about 5–6 years now. For the past 3 years, my periods have been irregular but somewhat manageable. I usually get them around 6–7 times a year. They were often late, but not very painful, so I kind of learned to live with it.

My last proper period was in early December 2025. After that, I didn’t get my period for around 4–4.5 months. Then towards the end of April, I started spotting, and it just didn’t stop. After 13 days of continuous spotting, I went to the doctor. They did scans and tests, everything looked mostly normal apart from typical PCOD and a vitamin D deficiency. My endometrial lining was 9 mm.

They prescribed vitamin D supplements for 3 months and gave me Krimson 35 for hormonal imbalance, but told me to start it only after I get my next proper period. They also gave me Pause MG (Tranexamic Acid – 500 mg & Mefenamic Acid – 250 mg) to take if the bleeding becomes excessive. (I’m from India- if that’s relevant here)

Now it’s been about 20 days of spotting. I did take Pause (around 5 tablets in total), but it didn’t really stop the bleeding. It’s not super heavy, but I’m still filling about 1/4th of a pad consistently.

Honestly, this whole thing has been exhausting. I feel constantly tired, emotionally all over the place, and getting irritated very easily. It’s been really hard to focus on anything or get work done. I just feel stuck and stressed, and I don’t know what to do next. I also don’t want to keep going back to the doctor again and again. I need some reassurance or reality check.
