Hey everyone,

We’re a small indie team currently working on DroneTanks, a combat-focused game featuring flying tanks, melee hammer combat, and a strong emphasis on story. What started as a student prototype has evolved into a more serious project, and we’re now looking to expand the team with passionate developers.

We are currently focusing on a singleplayer experience that combines fast-paced combat with a narrative layer involving secrets, identity, and player-driven discovery. One of our main goals is to make combat feel impactful, responsive, and grounded in the world—not just visually, but mechanically.

Current progress:

• Playable prototype with core systems (movement, flying, hammer combat)
• Ongoing iteration on combat depth and feel
• Custom shader/post-process pipeline for stylized visuals

Who we’re looking for basically anything:

• Unreal Engine programmer (especially gameplay, systems and experience with Multiplayer for long-term)
• Artists
• Game designers
• Marketing strategist

We are also specifically looking for a co-founder, ideally a programmer with deeper experience in Unreal Engine who wants to help shape the technical direction of the project long-term.

Compensation:
This is primarily a hobby / passion-driven project, but we can offer small compensation depending on contribution, alongside potential long-term opportunities if the project evolves further.

PORTFOLIO: We currently have a working prototype and internal builds, but no released titles yet.

Most of us are working on this alongside jobs or studies, so we value people who are motivated by learning, ownership, and building something meaningful together.
