Consider adopting a dog, cat or rabbit in the UAE - RescueME
Hey all, tried to make this post on r/Dubai but apparently it's against the rules lol so trying my luck here!
During the war I was disgraced hearing about so many pets being abandoned by the expat community and felt like I had to contribute.
I am in contact with multiple animal rescuers in the United Arab Emirates, they had pain points and are not the most technical people and struggled in getting the word out, mostly dealing with WhatsApp groups and Facebook, no native platform to make their lives easier and increase adoption rate in the United Arab Emirates.
This lead to me giving them a helping hand and together we built rescueme.ae, a platform to increase adoption rate, help neglected and abandoned animals and give rescuers the platform the deserve for all of their hard work.
This is a collaborative effort between many parties, you can read more on our about us page: https://www.rescueme.ae/our-story, we do not take fees, ask for money or operate in anyway for profit. RescueME has already helped tens of pets find loving friends and happy homes, hoping to see this number increase into the hundreds by the end of the year.
If you know someone who wants to adopt, but isn't sure, please spread the word and help neglected and abandoned dogs, cats and rabbits in the UAE find loving homes.
