Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction, because I'm completely stuck.
I recently shot a batch of about 15 videos on the exact same day using my [DJI Osmo model]. Unfortunately, every single video from that day came out messed up. The footage is super laggy and keeps flashing black frames in between. In some sections, the screen just goes completely black for a few seconds.
Here is what I’ve tried/noticed so far:
- I copied everything directly from the SD card to my computer's SSD. This is my usual workflow, and all my other videos transferred this exact same way are perfectly fine. It's only the videos from this specific day.
- I tried importing the clips into DJI Studio to see if I could fix it. I even tried downscaling from HD to SD to see if it was a playback issue, but the lag is still there.
- When I try exporting the clips, the black frames and the lag are baked right into the final render.
Has anyone experienced something like this before? What could be causing this? I'm trying to figure out if this was a glitch while recording, a failing SD card, or something that went wrong during the transfer to my SSD.
And most importantly, is there any way to recover or fix these files, or is this footage ruined for good?
