7-days post op.
Hello all, I’m 7 days post op from a septoplasty.
About an hour after having my splints removed my nose started bleeding randomly in the car drive home from the doctor’s office. I was able to stop the bleeding but I felt a clot get stuck in the back of my throat. I kinda freaked out so I pushed it out the best I can it felt like I was choking on it. I got the bleeding to stop after about 10-15 minutes then it started again. Stopped for a while then another clot got dislodged and it bled again for a while. Finally done bleeding now it’s been dribbling out for a few hours just kinda worried about what to do next. My other nostril is perfectly fine and I can breathe okay through it. My right nostril is the one that was bleeding and I can’t really breathe through it from all the blood crust.
How long should I wait to do the sinus rinse?
